Lista nominalizărilor la Premiile Oscar din acest an a fost anunțată în cadrul unei ceremonii organizate la Los Angeles.
După ce tocmai a câștigat Globul de Aur pentru rolul principal din The Revenant, Leonardo di Caprio este unul dintre favoriți și la Premiile Oscar. Actorul a fost nominalizat la categoria ”Cel mai bun actor în rol principal”, iar filmul are cele mai multe nominalizări, în număr de 12.
Alături de Leonardo DiCaprio, la categoria ”Cel mai bun actor în rol principal” au fost nominalizați Matt Damon (pentru rolul din The Martian), Eddie Redmayne (pentru The Danish Girl), Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs) și Bryan Cranston (Trumbo).
La categoria ”Cea mai bună actriță în rol principal” au fost nominalizate Cate Blanchett (pentru rolul din Carol), Brie Larson (Room), Charlotte Rampling (45 Years), Jennifer Lawrence (pentru performanța din filmul Joy) și Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn).
Marele premiu al celui mai bun film din 2015 se va adjudeca între Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max, Room, Spotlight, The big short, The Martian și The Revenant.
